TRAIL HIGHLIGHTS:
The 5k and 11k walking trails, located 13 miles northwest of Hartford, begin with a stretch of the Farmington Canal Heritage
Trail. The route continues through Simsbury's historic town center, with buildings representing
4 centuries of architecture, a 19th century railroad station (now Plan B Burger Bar), the old Drake
Hill Flower Bridge (featured on the A-award), 17th century grist mill and a 19th century explosives factory.

DIRECTIONS:
FROM I-91N or I-91S: Exit 40 for Rt. 20. Go west 9 mi.to Granby and south on
Rt. 10 for almost 6 mi. (name changes to Hopmeadow St. in town). Turn left into Drake Hill Shopping Center.
FROM I-84: Exit 39 for Rt. 4 to Farmington. Turn right (north) on Rt.10 for 11 mi. (name changes to Hopmeadow
St. in town). Turn right into Drake Hill Shopping Center.
