Description: As you leave the
Showboat Casino and begin your walk on the Atlantic Ocean boardwalk,
you’ll see a lighthouse, a steel pier with wonderful rides for kids of
all ages, and you’ll pass several large arcades in which you can
challenge your skills at the various games. You’ll pass the Ripley’s
Believe It Or Not Museum, Brighton Park with the New Jersey War Memorial,
Planet Hollywood at Caesar’s Palace, and Kennedy Plaza. Further down the
boardwalk, you’ll move away from the hustle and bustle to the quiet
beach front residences along one side of the walkway and sand dunes,
beach, and ocean waves on the other side. At the walk turn around point,
you will have the option to walk along the beach for a portion of the walk
(in the sand, along the shoreline), or return on the boardwalk. |

| Directions: Atlantic City is on the Atlantic Ocean 30 miles north of Cape May. Atlantic City Expressway to end then follow signs to Showboat parking (Left on Atlantic, right on Delaware). From the North: Major highways connect with the
Garden State Parkway South to the Atlantic City Expressway. Follow *
below.From the South: I-95 To Delaware Memorial Bridge to Rte.322. Or via
Cape May-Lewes Ferry to Garden State Parkway North to Atlantic City
Expressway. Follow * below.From the West: Via Philadelphia, Walt Whitman
Bridge to North/South Freeway to Atlantic City Expressway. Follow * below.
* Follow the signs to the Showboat Casino (left on Atlantic or Pacific)
then about a mile right onto Delaware into the all day indoor parking
garage. Walk through the casino to the Boardwalk exit. Left a short
distance and right into Garden Pier. The start box is in the museum on the
left. You might want to visit both museums. From the North: Major highways
connect with the Garden State Parkway South to the Atlantic City
Expressway. Follow * below.From the South: I-95 To Delaware Memorial
