Trail / Event Description:  This is a lovely walk through the campus of historic Douglass College, Rutgers University.

  There is no special award for this event.  Fee for IVV credit is $3. For non-IVV members we are requesting a $3 donation to assist in covering our expenses.
Directions:  

In New Jersey one can easily reach the greater New Brunswick area via the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 18. 

From the New Jersey Turnpike (North or South) take Exit # 9 (New Brunswick and Route 18). Stay to the right to proceed on Route 18 North. ***(Road will curve to the left at which point you should stay in the middle lane to avoid Route 1 North). Shortly after the first traffic light will be the George St. exit on your right. Take the exit for George St./Cook Douglass Campus. Proceed on George St. to the 2nd traffic light at Nichol Ave. The Douglass College Center will be on the left side. Turn left onto Nichol Ave.. Continue to the first left hand turn onto Lipman Drive at the Co-Op Bookstore. Turn left again, immediately into the Douglass College Center's parking lot and parking deck, which is located directly behind that building. 

Garden State Parkway (North) take the GSP South to exit #129. (New Jersey Turnpike South) to Exit 9. Follow Turnpike directions above. 

From Garden State Parkway (South): Take the GSP North to Exit 105. Follow signs to get on Route 18 North. Follow Route 18 North just past the Turnpike entrance and follow *** above.

CONDITIONS: This event will be held regardless of weather conditions. PETS: Pets are not allowed R

EFRESHMENTS: Water and hard candy will be available at the start/finish point. Food and beverages can be purchased at the College Cafeteria or Snack Shop after 11:00 AM. 

RESTROOMS: Available at the Start Point and several areas on the campus. The building does not open until 10:00 AM.
