There are the "Grand Ladies" of the island with all their vibrant color, gingerbread and lace trim, charming verandas, intricate ornamentation and structured gardens. Many of the 600 buildings listed under the National Register of Historic Places are now B & B's. You will walk along the shore, by beautifully maintained beaches, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Delaware Bay, and note the famed Cape May Lighthouse.
