The Margate City Library, which has driving directions to the 10K and 12K start point.
The 10K and 12K distance start on this famous boardwalk in front of the Garden Pier, a cultural haven with its beautiful art center and historical museum. The trail reaches the doorstep of Ventnor, NJ turning about at a statue studded mansion and returns the same way back on the boardwalk. Or, you may walk the course in reverse, finding on street parking in Ventnor. The 12K route passes by a brewery, which qualifies for the Princeton Area Walkers Winery/Brewery Event.

Major highways and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry connect with the Garden State Parkway to the Atlantic City Expressway East. At the end, make a a right on Atlantic Ave. and follow for about 10 miles. Street parking available, although limited during the season. Margate Public Library 8100 Atlantic Ave.Mon thru Saturday 9:30 opening. Mon, Tuesday, Thursday closing at 8:00 PM. Wed & Friday, Saturday closing at 5:00 PM. Sundays open 10 AM to 2PM. Call to verify 609-822-4700.
If starting the walk on the boardwalk, the Showboat Casino parking is the closest to the starting point. Fees for parking vary according to the casino and the season. Free parking on the street is limited. Follow the signs to the Showboat Casino (left on Atlantic or Pacific) then about a mile right onto Delaware into the all day indoor parking garage. Walk through the casino to the Boardwalk exit.
