Description: Princeton Historic Walk: Daily- dawn to dusk Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs with some difficulty with stairs and gravel along the route. The historic trail includes Princeton University, exclusive residential areas, gravesites of Grover Cleveland and Aaron Burr, many past presidents of Princeton and the home used by Albert Einstein. Numerous sculptures and historic sites lie along the walk route. Please take the historic site information with you. Includes Nassau Hall, the first capital of New Jersey. Palmer Square features an upscale shopping area. Bring a camera. Pets allowed in outdoor areas. Restrooms available at the Clarion/Palmer Inn. The Clarion Inn may offer overnight discount rates to walkers - please inquire. In the past they offered walkers the same discounts as the Princeton students.

Start Point / Driving Directions: 3499 Rte 1 South , Princeton, by Pep Boys. Princeton is located along Rt. 1, 16 miles south of New Brunswick and 10 miles north of Trenton. It is on Rt. 1 South 2.8 miles north of JCT I 295 and I 95 with Rt.1.(From the east I 195 to 295 north) I 295 Exit 67 to 1 north. Make a U-turn at Alexander Rd overpass onto Rt. 1 South. From NJ Turnpike: Exit 8 Hightstown to 33 west into Hightstown and 571 to Princeton. At Route 1 South - 2 miles to Clarion/Palmer Inn. Access I-295 N at south from Delaware Memorial Bridge or from north at I-95 S. You will register at the Clarion and then drive a few miles to Marqaund Park for the start.
