TRAIL HIGHLIGHTS: Wethersfield includes 116 homes built before 1840, with a few dating back to the 17th century, plus a lovely cove off the Connecticut River, with its 1600s warehouse, and a cemetery with Native American mounds and graves. Historical museums are in the Webb-Deane-Stevens homes (where George Washington and Rochambeau planned the final days of the Revolutionary War at Yorktown, VA) and at Keeney Memorial Cultural Center.
TRAIL RATING: 1A, suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
